Strengthen your connection with nature, enjoy time without hurry and have an opportunity to unplug.
This tour includes: professional facilitator, guided tour in arctic nature, nature connection exercises, breathing exercises, easy yoga practice for balance, herbal tea.
This nature connection practice is inspired by Japanese nature therapy called Shinrin yoku. It is proven to reduce stress hormone production and improve the quality of sleep and overall happiness. It can also boost your memory, energy and immune system, low your blood sugar level and reduce high blood pressure, help recover from illness and it is good for bloodstream and metabolism.
The practice takes place in the forest, where we lean to trees and sit on the ground during this class. Close contact to nature might leave marks on your clothes! Dress up with warm and comfortable clothes suitable for outdoors, that can get dirty. You can bring a sitting pad, blanket and water bottle with you in back bag, but these are optional.
During this tour, we have a good opportunity to disconnect from mobile phones and be present to ourselves. Please kindly turn your phone off or to flight mode before attending.

Qualifications
The activity is facilitated by Minna Kataja, the owner of Arctic Sky Lapland, who is an educated wildfood specialist, a life coach, yoga instructor (RYT 500 hatha, restorative, yin, pranayama, yoga nidra, prenatal yoga, yoga therapy), canoeing instructor and a construction engineer.
